Al Gore, former Democratic Nominee for president and Democratic party heavyweight has endorsed Barack Obama for president. Gore declared from an Obama rally in Detroit's Joe Louis Arena that experience is not a prerequisite for leadership, and that elections matter to us all.
Gore's endorsement called for change, accentuating Obama's green polices and initiatives. This is Al Gore's first political appearances. This endorsement will help boost Obama's profile in Michigan and the Ohio River Valley.
